Former WWE Champion Big E has now reacted to the AEW departure of former WWE Vice President of Communications Adam Hopkins.
Earlier today (January 17) Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reported that Hopkins is gone from WWE. Details surrounding his departure are currently unclear.
Hopkins had been with WWE since 1997, and worked in a variety of roles, including being a point of contact for media, and organising media events.
Big E has now taken to Twitter to note that he will miss Hopkins. The popular star wrote:
“A true professional and a great human. Really going to miss A Hop.”
A number of names from the wrestling media world have also shared messages of support for Hopkins, including Denise Salcedo and Andrew Zarian.
Big E has been on the shelf for almost a year now, after suffering a broken neck on the March 11, 2022 episode of SmackDown.
The former WWE Champion will have more medical scans in March, one year on from his original injury.
A ‘one of a kind’ New Day union was recently announced, which you can read more about at this link.
