Former WWE Champion Big E has showered praise on the stars who competed in the TLC match which took place on SmackDown.
The April 25 post-WrestleMania edition of SmackDown was headlined by a TLC match for the WWE Tag Team Championship.
The Street Profits ultimately retained their title, with Montez Ford unhooking the gold to defeat DIY and the Motor City Machine Guns.
With many fans questioning why this entertaining match wasn’t included on the WrestleMania 41 card, Big E has now outlined his hopes for the competitors.
Big E took to Twitter to note that he hopes all six men involved will get bigger opportunities following this “Mania caliber” match, writing:
“Had to rewatch the TLC Tag Match from SmackDown this morning. Take a bow, gentlemen. We got a top tier, Mania caliber match.
“All 6 men should be immensely proud of their work. Hope this catapults them all to bigger opportunities. “
The World Tag Team Championship was defended at WrestleMania 41, with the New Day defeating the War Raiders to win the gold.
