Big E WWE Contract Update

Big E WWE Contract Update WWE

A contract update has emerged on former WWE Champion Big E ahead of the big New Day segment on Raw tonight.

While there’s no confirmed guarantee he’ll appear, E is reportedly backstage at tonight’s Raw, which will feature the 10-year anniversary celebration for New Day.

The latest on E’s WWE contract status has now emerged through Fightful Select ahead of tonight’s potential appearance.

The report notes that all three members of New Day (E, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) all signed five-year deals five years ago set to expire at the end of this year.

While there’s no news on Woods and Kingston, there is something of an update on Big E.

With E having been out due to injury since March 2022, WWE would have the option to add injury time to extend his contract.

However, Fightful reports that as of this past summer, the belief was that WWE had not added any injury time onto his deal.

There’s no word on whether he’s re-signed or signed a new deal since then, and the report notes there’s a chance things could have changed, but as of the summer, that was the situation.

While he’s been out of in-ring action, E has been a regular panelist on WWE premium live event pre-and-post-shows.

As noted, he is backstage at Raw tonight and many fans are hoping to see him as part of the New Day 10-year segment.
