Former WWE Champion Big E has named a star who he wishes he would’ve wrestled, noting that this dream match would’ve been very, very cool.
While it’s unclear if Big E will ever return to the ring, the powerhouse has had a great wrestling career, winning numerous WWE titles and facing many top stars.
While speaking with IGN, Big E was asked about stars who he missed the chance to face in WWE.
Noting that he would’ve liked to have wrestled Goldberg in WWE, Big E said:
“I’ve been pretty fortunate to wrestle everyone, a lot of people from the roster. Maybe I think Goldberg, we’ve had some interactions, but I think it would have been so beautifully and weirdly full circle to get a chance to wrestle my childhood idol.
“I got a chance to meet him at a signing in the late 90s when I was still a kid. So a chance to wrestle Goldberg would have been very, very cool.”
Goldberg last wrestled at WWE Elimination Chamber 2022, losing to Roman Reigns.
He is preparing to wrestle his last WWE match at some point in 2025, which is reportedly expected to take place sometime in the summer.
