WWE’s Big E Lands Role In Marvel Studios Project WWE

Former WWE Champion Big E has been confirmed as part of the cast for the new Marvel animated show ‘Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man’

Showrunner Jeff Trammell confirmed this during an interview with Brandon Davis of Phase Hero, who questioned whether or not he heard Big E while watching the preview.

When asked how he was able to get Big E on the project, Trammell simply noted:

“I asked him, he was like ‘yeah’. He’s the best.

Trammell revealed that Big E was actually still wearing his neck brace during their first voice recording session together, noting:

“We’ve been recording him since… a few years ago. The first time he recorded he was still wearing the neck brace, so we’ve been sitting on this for a while.

“It’s insane, we’re very, very fortunate to have E. He’s incredible, he’s been the absolute best to work with, I love him.”

Big E has now tweeted about his new Marvel role, writing:

Sitting on this news has been a task! Incredibly excited to voice a character in YOUR FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD SPIDER-MAN! Premieres Wednesday, January 29th on @DisneyPlus!

‘Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man’ is produced by Marvel Studios Animation, a division of Marvel Studios.

Big E’s role in the show hasn’t been confirmed, but considering he has been recording for the show for years, many are expecting for E to voice a significant character.
