Top WWE Star Explains Similarities Between WWE & NASCAR WWE

A top WWE star has explained similarities between WWE and NASCAR.

WWE and NASCAR has partnered up many times over the years and the superstars have made their way to various events, serving as Grand Marshalls or honorary pace car drivers.

On November 6, former WWE Champion Big E introduced the NASCAR Cup Series Championship 4.

Making media rounds in an interview with Speed Freaks, the New Day member discussed the crossover between WWE and NASCAR fans.

He said:

“The Venn diagram between NASCAR fans and WWE fans, I feel it’s pretty connected. There are a lot of people with crossover and Joey Logano has done stuff on Raw.”

“We have so many people who dabble in and out of both fanbases. It feels like a natural fit where so many people who enjoy NASCAR enjoy WWE as well. The reception has been incredible.”

Making parallels between the two worlds, Big E said:

“This is why there are parallels between NASCAR and WWE, what it boils down to is storytelling. That’s what engages fans.”

“That’s what NASCAR does and that’s what WWE does. You have your babyfaces and heels, we’re telling stories. As a fan, that’s what I love to sink my teeth into, the storytelling.”

As previously reported, a WWE Hall of Famer has revealed that he pitched a huge match for Big E at WrestleMania 35 in 2019.

Big E’s New Day stablemates Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston will try to maintain their legacy on the November 11 edition of WWE SmackDown. New Day will face The Usos for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships and the longest reign in company history on this Friday’s show.
