Big Match Added To WWE NXT Tonight

Tonight on WWE NXT, the final WWE show before Christmas, it has been announced that former NXT Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley is going to go one-on-one with Dakota Kai, who is returning from a kayfabe injury at NXT TakeOver WarGames.

It was reported by Fightful last week that Kai is not actually injured, and she was instead being kept off TV while WWE “cleared up” her Visa. Based off the fact she is wrestling tonight, it certainly seems like any issues have been sorted.

Also announced for the show last night was a match between Jake Atlas and Isaiah ‘Swerve’ Scott, which if given proper time, has all the makings of a pretty great TV match.

On last week’s show, it was confirmed that we are going to see Bronson Reed return to in-ring competition for the first time since the October 21st episode of NXT. At this time, there is no word why he has been off TV for two months.

These will all join a match that was made over the weekend that will see Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan defend their NXT Tag Team Championship in a Street Fight and Killian Dain and Drake Maverick.
