Big Matches Confirmed For Next Week’s Pre-Taped SmackDown WWE

Several major matches announced for next week’s episode of SmackDown including a title match, a steel cage match and a pair of beat the clock matches!

As previously reported, the backstage sneak peeks of what was to come for tonight’s taping of next week’s (April 29) pre-taped episode of SmackDown are beginning to come to fruition with two announced on tonight’s episode as scheduled for next week.

Officially confirmed on tonight’s (April 22) episode, a pair of ‘Beat the Clock’ matches for Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair separately attempting to make their opponents say “I quit’ the fastest.

While their scheduled opponents were not released on tonight’s graphic, per previous reports Ronda Rousey will be taking on Shotzi and Charlotte Flair will be in competition against Aliyah.

Also confirmed on tonight’s show for next week, an Intercontinental Championship title defense for Ricochet as he takes on challenger, Shanky.

Announced by the end of the episode, a steel cage match between Drew McIntyre and Sami Zayn after Zayn managed to escape despite the lumberjacks at ringside for tonight’s match-up.
