Accoring to a report from PWInsider, Ring of Honor (ROH) believes two of its top names and champions are going to be able to return to the promotion soon.
RUSH, who is the World Champion, and Dragon Lee, who is the TV Champion, have been out due to COVID-19 and travel restrictions.
The report notes that ROH believes internally that they’ll both be back for the next set of TV tapings next month.
RUSH has been World Champion since the February 29 Gateway to Honor show where he beat Lee Haskins and then-champion PCO in a three-way match.
Dragon Lee, on the other hand, won the TV Title on December 13 last year at Final Battle, beating Shane Taylor.
ROH has restarted without these two champions and crowned the first Pure Champion since 2006 in Jonathan Gresham. The tournament was presented in a serious sports-based style and is worth checking out if you haven’t already.
