A big return has now officially been confirmed for the upcoming WWE Royal Rumble 2025 premium live event on February 1.
As is always the case, in the weeks and days leading up to the Royal Rumble, there’s plenty of speculation among fans about potential surprise entrants for both the men’s and women’s Rumble matches.
Well, one of the most predicted “surprises” is no longer a surprise, as it’s now been officially announced.
In a new video hyping up her return to WWE, Charlotte Flair announced on SmackDown tonight that she will be returning at the Royal Rumble.
Flair has been out of action due to a torn ACL, MCL and meniscus since December 2023, so it’ll be her first match in over a year.
There were several more declarations on tonight’s SmackDown, as Naomi, Bianca Belair, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez also announced they’ll be in the women’s Rumble match.
Those names and Flair are in addition to the already confirmed Nia Jax and Bayley.
