Here’s the latest news regarding the currently planned WrestleMania 37 opponent for WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
As per Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Reigns’ match is the only one that has actually been decided upon and finalised.
If you’re wondering who it is, we don’t know that yet, but we do know one name that it isn’t.
Meltzer specifically stated that while Reigns’ currently planned opponent is not known, it is definitely NOT Shinsuke Nakamura.
Nakamura made it all the way to the final round of a gauntlet on SmackDown recently before being cheated out of the win by Reigns and Jey Uso.
A match against Reigns would make sense for Nakamura, especially since he beat Uso recently too, but it seems that WrestleMania won’t be where it happens.
