Big Star Returning On Monday Night Raw Tonight

WWE has announced that six-time WWE Women’s Champion Mickie James will be making her return tonight on Raw. She has been injured for over a year.

WWE made the announcement earlier today on Facebook. Aside from a highlight package, they did not offer any other details about what she will be doing. Here is the video and the announcement:

James has been on the shelf since suffering a torn ACL on June 1, 2019. The injury occurred during a match with Carmella during a house show. She underwent successful surgery to repair the damage on July 16, 2019. Since the injury, James has served as a commentator on Main Event from time to time. She was declared a WWE free agent after the roster shakeup in October 2019 but we obviously now know she will be a part of the Raw brand.

James returned to WWE after six years away back in 2016. After a brief appearance in NXT where she faced Asuka at NXT Takeover: Toronto, she made her return on the main roster in 2017. After a rivalry with Becky Lynch, James was moved to Raw where she had a short feud with Alexa Bliss.
