There was a ton of matches announced for the next two weeks of AEW Dynamite. Their New Year’s Smash specials will take place over the next two weeks and will see three championships be defended.
While the AEW World Championship match between Kenny Omega and Rey Fenix had already been announced, we know two other title matches now as well. On night one, Hikaru Shida will defend the AEW Women’s title against Abadon.
Meanwhile, Darby Allin will defend the TNT Championship against Brian Cage on night two. Other matches were announced as well, with Wardlow taking on Jake Hager on night one and Cody Rhodes facing Matt Sydal and Jurassic Express facing FTR on Night Two.

- AEW World Championship Match – Kenny Omega (c) vs. Rey Fenix
- AEW Women’s Championship Match – Hikaru Shida (c) vs. Abadon

New Year’s Smash Night Two (January 6, 2021)
