A big update has come to light regarding the future of AEW programming on TNT and TBS, via a new report from Variety.
The report states that AEW Dynamite will officially be moving from TNT to TBS on January 5, 2022, which was already pretty much known.
However, there has been a change in plans, because Rampage was initially going to be moved to TBS as well, but that’s no longer the case.
Rampage will be staying on TNT after Dynamite moves to TBS, according to the report.
AEW has been riding humongous wave of momentum as of late, and hopefully this change in arrangements isn’t something that will affect things too much.
The TV ratings for last night’s Dynamite ‘Grand Slam’ show will be revealed in a few hours, so stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com for those.
On a related note, it’s been reported that the promotion will introduce the TBS Championship, a secondary women’s championship, at the start of next year.
