A big segment that had previously been announced for tonight’s episode of WWE Raw on the USA Network was scrapped in rewrites ahead of the show.
Drew McIntyre was intially set to appear on A Moment of Bliss tonight, but that never happened.
PWInsider reports that the segment was a victim of rewrites to the show which caused it to be removed.
Instead, McIntyre appeared in the show’s opening segment which was Miz TV, which already had Randy Orton & New Day as guests.
Off the back of that, the main event was a six-man tag with McIntyre & New Day vs Miz, John Morrison and Orton.
It was announced before the six-man tag that McIntyre will be challenging Orton for the WWE Title next week, and then Orton didn’t get involved at all during the match, which was won by McIntyre who pinned Morrison following a Claymore.
