Billy Gunn Thinks The Young Talent In AEW Need To Take More Advantage Of Veteran Minds

Billy Gunn is one of the many veterans in the AEW locker room and revealed what he thinks the young talent could do a better job at.

Appearing on Busted Open Radio, the AEW star was asked about young talent utilizing the various veteran talent and agents. AEW currently has experienced stars such as Sting, Chris Jericho, Tully Blanchard and Arn Anderson backstage.

Gunn answered:

I think they could do a better job of it, Honestly, that’s one of the things, we have some of the….Arn, Dean, Tully, Jerry, you have some of the greatest talent minds that are in the business and I feel they don’t take full advantage of it. I feel they need to take more advantage of it.

Sometimes, I think they are in their own head and, not that they know it all, but they kind of don’t want someone to tell them different from what their game plan is. I feel like it needs to be more and that they don’t take full advantage of what they have in front of them.

AEW hired Billy Gunn as a coach in January 2019. He has since served under the role as well as in-ring competitor and manager to the Gunn Club.

The WWE Hall of Famer watched his sons Colten and Austin Gunn fail in their bid at the AEW World Tag Team Titles against Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus on this past Friday’s AEW Rampage.
