A Facebook post made by Marty Jannetty earlier today has led to a police investigation according to a new report from TMZ.
The post has since been deleted, so we won’t republish it here, but you can find it in the TMZ report should you wish. It is worth mentioning though that the incident in question would have taken place around 1973.
The report notes that the Columbus Police Department in Georgia said: “We are going to look into this”, and a spokesperson from the homicide/cold case division said: “The first step will be seeing if we have any missing persons or unidentified remains cases that match the limited information in the post.”
Marty Jannetty has been reached out to by TMZ several times as per the report, but has yet to respond.
Jannetty, full name Fredrick Martin Jannetty, was a WWF Tag Team Champion and WWF Intercontinental Champion.
