Blake Monroe Addresses New WWE Alliance

Blake Monroe recently made her WWE debut — having previously been Mariah May in AEW — and has addressed a new onscreen alliance.

First appearing in June, the former Mariah May has morphed into Blake Monroe on WWE NXT.

With Monroe’s first match set to take place at the July 12 NXT The Great American Bash, she has also formed quite the alliance.

The July 1 episode of WWE NXT saw Monroe come to the aid of Jordynne Grace, saving her from Jacy Jayne and Fatal Influence.

With Grace & Monroe vs. Jayne & Fallon Henley confirmed for The Great American Bash, the recently signed star has commented on her new alliance, tweeting:

“I’m real good at making friends

“#glamandguns”

The post was accompanied by a photo of Monroe gripping the biceps of Jordynne Grace in the NXT ring.

Monroe has recently discussed her decision to sign with WWE, revealing that she didn’t feel that she would end up in the company.

As Mariah May, she signed with AEW in November 2023 and would remain with the company until her departure in May.

She is a former AEW Women’s World Champion and won the Women’s Owen Hart Cup in 2024.

Often one to push boundaries, Monroe recently teasingly commented that she had approached WWE Shop to sell “Bathwater Bliss“.
