On the June 3 episode of NXT, Monroe made her debut appearance for WWE just a couple of days after her AEW contract expired at the end of May.
She has yet to have a match on WWE or NXT TV, but has now made her in-ring debut for the company in an untelevised capacity.
At tonight’s NXT live event in Fort Pierce, Florida, Monroe debuted with a win against another NXT TV newcomer Lainey Reid.
Other results from tonight’s show included:
Myles Borne def. Drako Knox
Fallon Henley def. Summer Sorrell
Jasper Troy def. Jax Presley
Arianna Grace def. Chantel Monroe (nothing to do with Blake Monroe despite them sharing a surname)
Josh Briggs & Yoshiki Inamura def. OTM
Brooks Jensen def. Luca Crusifino
Jacy Jayne def. Thea Hail
Prior to signing with WWE, Blake Monroe had wrestled in Japan before joining AEW in 2023 and signing a two-year deal.
During her time in AEW, she reigned as Women’s World Champion for 174 days, winning the title from Toni Storm at All In London 2024 at Wembley Stadium.
