A member of the Bloodline family has commented on winning their first world championship in a WWE name’s company last night.
At last night’s Reality of Wrestling’s Summer of Champions X event, Zilla Fatu, the son of WWE legend Umaga and member of the Anoa’i family, captured his first world championship just over a year after beginning his in-ring career, winning the ROW World Championship.
Zilla’s ROW World Championship victory comes just weeks after he captured his first title, the HOG Crown Jewel Title, back on July 26.
Taking to Twitter today, Zilla reacted to his first world championship victory, paying homage to his late father and teasing ‘new beginnings’.
He said:
#NewBeginnings POPS WE DID IT @TheOfficialROW
Zilla was in attendance at WWE SummerSlam in Cleveland on August 3, which was headlined by Solo Sikoa challenging Cody Rhodes in a Bloodline Rules main event, featuring the return of Roman Reigns.
WWE is said to have its eyes on Zilla Fatu as a potential future signing, but he hasn’t started with the company as of yet.
