Bobby Fish Shares Honest Thoughts On Undisputed Era WWE Split WWE

Bobby Fish has shared his honest thoughts on the Undisputed Era faction’s WWE split in 2021.

Fish, Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong formed one of the most popular teams in the history of NXT during their time with the developmental brand.

At NXT TakeOver Vengeance Day 2021, Cole turned on O’Reilly, following numerous teases. It was announced shortly thereafter that the team had officially disbanded.

Speaking with NBC Sports Boston, Fish argued that the group was split prematurely. Believing that plans for them changed, Fish said:

“I just think things changed and everything needs to evolve. I think we had evolved quite a bit in a very short time. Maybe we moved a little bit quicker than we needed to as far as the timing of when to pull the trigger on stuff and when not to.

“The people that made decisions at this time would probably agree that we split apart premature. I think there was more left for us to do as a unit. I think that was the plan and then it wasn’t the plan and then it was the plan and then it wasn’t. Then they just weren’t sure what to do. So we pulled the trigger. You learn from your mistakes.”

Cole, Fish and O’Reilly were reunited in AEW in late 2021 and went on to form the Undisputed Elite. Fish recently finished up with AEW, with the two sides unable to come to terms on a new deal.
