Changed Plans For Bobby Lashley AEW Debut Revealed AEW

Former WWE star Bobby Lashley made his AEW debut on tonight’s October 30 ‘Fright Night’ edition of Dynamite.

Lashley made his first AEW appearance by laying out Swerve Strickland and reuniting with MVP and Shelton Benjamin.

However, as reported by Fightful Select, plans for Lashley’s debut were delayed.

Initially, his first appearance was set to be at AEW WrestleDream earlier this month.

However, due to the plans for that show to end with the big Jon Moxley faction angle and the end of Bryan Danielson’s full-time career, the decision was made to postpone Lashley’s debut.

According to the report, Bobby Lashley actually officially signed with AEW in September, shortly before Dynamite Grand Slam.

It was at Grand Slam that MVP debuted, soon followed by Shelton Benjamin and now Lashley.

The trio, formerly three of the four members of the Hurt Business in WWE (with the other being Cedric Alexander who recently re-signed with WWE), are now known as the Hurt Syndicate.

Elsewhere on tonight’s Dynamite, Jon Moxley vs Orange Cassidy was made official for Full Gear, and Private Party won the AEW World Tag Team Championship.
