Bobby Lashley made a somewhat surprising AEW in-ring debut on tonight’s November 20 episode of Dynamite on TBS.
After making his first appearance in AEW a few weeks ago, Lashley was announced for a match at Full Gear this weekend against Swerve Strickland.
However, that won’t be his AEW debut match, as he actually had one on tonight’s Dynamite.
Although it wasn’t announced before the show, Lashley competed in a one-on-two handicap match against Joe Keys and Cheeseburger tonight.
As you may have predicted, Lashley easily picked up the win, as Keys passed out in the Hurt Lock, which is Lashley’s version of a Full Nelson.
After the match, Prince Nana appeared on the stage to distract MVP and Shelton Benjamin so Strickland could slide into the ring to attack Lashley.
Lashley vs Strickland came about after Strickland rejected an offer to join the Hurt Syndicate, instead staying loyal to Prince Nana.
The Hurt Syndicate is made up of Bobby Lashley, MVP and Shelton Benjamin who all debuted in AEW recently looking to reform the Hurt Business faction that was cut short in WWE.
