It’s being reported that Bobby Lashley vs Goldberg is indeed going to be added to the card for WWE Crown Jewel next month.
This comes after Goldberg appeared via video on Raw last night and said he was coming after Lashley, and PWInsider has since confirmed the match will be at Crown Jewel.
Bobby Lashley retained the WWE Championship over Goldberg at SummerSlam in August before attacking Goldberg’s son Gage, which is the reason for the rematch.
Lashley has of course since lost said WWE Championship to Big E, and failed to recapture it in a steel cage match last night despite the Hurt Business reuniting as backup.
While this isn’t confirmed, it looks like Drew McIntyre will be E’s next challenger, but with the WWE Draft coming up and a lot of signs pointing to McIntyre going to SmackDown, it’s unclear when that’ll take place.
Crown Jewel is set for the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on October 21, with the only announced match so far being Roman Reigns defending the Universal Title against Brock Lesnar.
