Bobby Lashley Reveals How His Partnership With MVP Started

Bobby Lashley is currently the number one contender for the WWE Championship. This is a much better position for him to be in than he was in a few months ago. At least in storyline, this can be accredited to his new partnership with MVP.

Now, Lashley has revealed how this relationship came to be. In a recent interview with Alex McCarthy of TalkSPORT, Lashley discussed how he and MVP have had a great relationship for years. Here is the quote:

“You never know anything! We get there, we do as we’re told. The one thing is, MVP and I have had a great relationship for years, for a long time. All the way back to SmackDown many moons ago and then we did some stuff together from time to time.

We have a unique relationship, an interesting relationship that I think everybody is kind of jumping onto. Because I didn’t know what was going on. He and I were chatting a little bit. He came back and they were trying to figure out where he was going and we do have a little natural chemistry together so I think that’s what the fans are interested to see.”

Lashley has been in a storyline with Lana for the last six months. Now, he will face Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship at Backlash.
