Former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley’s next move has been revealed, with a combat sports promotion addressing rumors that they have signed him.
Following Lashley officially becoming a free agent after his WWE contract expired, reports indicated that a number of promotions have expressed interest in working with Lashley, including some in the combat sports world.
After Lashley shared a video of himself training for boxing, there have been a lot of rumors swirling about the now-former WWE star stepping into a boxing or MMA ring.
There have also been rumors that Lashley has signed with Misfits Boxing, with fans spotting that Lashley is followed by the promotion’s Co-President Mams Taylor on Twitter.
Lashley also told The Laboratory with Plaz that he has a boxing match lined up for him in Las Vegas, where Misfits are rumored to be having a show.
This rumor was officially addressed on the latest episode of Misfits News, the official news and rumors brand for the promotion, with the co-hosts noting:
“One more big announcement, one that sort of got leaked on the Misfits Twitter space, it’s been hinted that WWE star Bobby Lashley has been signed with Misfits.”

While the hosts didn’t explicitly confirm that Lashley has signed with the promotion, they noted later on in the video that there are “a lot of arrows pointing in that direction”.
Misfits Boxing is a UK based promotion co-owned by YouTube star KSI. Inspired by pro-wrestling companies like WWE to a degree, the promotion specialises in crossover matches, with influencers, celebrities and pro athletes stepping into the ring for traditional or gimmick fights.
Notable names who have competed for Misfits include KSI, Tommy Fury, Le’Veon Bell and former WWE US Champion Logan Paul.
Lashley has a 15-2 record in MMA, most recently defeating Josh Appelt via a round two submission at Bellator 162 in October 2016.
