WWE has confirmed a new championship match for their upcoming WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view event.
On last week’s (August 30) episode of Raw, RKBro retained their Raw Tag Team Championship against WWE Champion Bobby Lashley and MVP, before Orton laid Lashley out with an RKO after the match.
To kick off this week’s episode, Orton challenged Lashley to a WWE Championship match, which Lashley accepted for Extreme Rules.
WWE Extreme Rules streams live on Sunday, September 26 on WWE Network or Peacock in the United States.
