A former WWE star has reacted to Bobby Lashley’s open challenge, indicating that he wants to face the All Mighty at WrestleMania 39.
Following weeks of uncertainty surrounding Lashley’s status for this weekend’s event, the former WWE Champion won the 2023 Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the March 31 edition of SmackDown.
Following his win, Lashley took to Twitter to challenge someone to step up, noting that he’s currently free on Saturday and Sunday.
Chris Masters replied to Lashley on Twitter, noting that he’s disappointed that he won’t be facing Lashley on the Show of Shows.
Masters tweeted:
Fact is, no matter who they choose, nobody would be able to put on a better match at this point in their career than me.
That’s the sad part in this not being a reality
Masters previously pitched a match with Lashley so that they could have a showdown with the Master Lock vs the Hurt Lock.
