WWE Hall Of Famer Addresses Braun Strowman’s Controversial Tweets

At WWE Crown Jewel, Braun Strowman faced Omos, but it was his after-show tweets that continue to draw attention.

Having decided to mock the “floppy floppers” of the wrestling world, stars such as Will Ospreay, and even WWE’s own Ricochet and Mustafa Ali, criticized Strowman’s words, and AEW’s Jeff Jarrett would recently weigh in on the issue.

Now, Booker T has joined the fray.

Speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer praised the match between Strowman and Omos, saying:

“I think they went out and did a hell of a job.

“They should be applauded because I’m sure a lot of people thought that match was gonna stink up the house.

“Give yourself a pat on the back.”

Whilst he was full of praise for the match itself, he did have advice for Strowman, saying:

“Stay away from any heat as far as stirring up a hornet’s nest with these young guys with what they go out there and do because I stir up enough for everybody.”

Booker T is no stranger to addressing controversial issues, most recently including his reaction to Athena vs Jody Threat on AEW Dark.
