Booker T Responds To Criticism Of Rhea Ripley WWE WrestleMania 42 Spot WWE

WWE Hall of Famer Booker T has responded to criticism of Rhea Ripley getting another championship match at WrestleMania 42 this year.

After winning this year’s women’s Elimination Chamber match, Ripley will challenge Jade Cargill for the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania.

Rhea Ripley’s Impressive WrestleMania History

WrestleMania 42 will mark Ripley’s seventh consecutive Mania match with every one of those matches being a title match – six of them for singles titles.

The only one that wasn’t a singles championship match was when she and Liv Morgan teamed up in a Women’s Tag Team Championship four-way at Mania 38.

Last year, she was in a Women’s World Championship three-way match against Bianca Belair and IYO SKY.

WWE Fans Criticizing Rhea Ripley

On his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker said:

“A lot of people are ragging on Rhea Ripley because this is her fifth main event spot.

“There’s a reason why she’s in that main event spot. You’re gonna have to take that spot from Rhea Ripley.

“If I’m a promoter, Rhea Ripley is the one I’m gonna be wanting to put in that spot until someone steps up and takes it away. That’s just the way it works.”
