Booker T Thinks Paige Will Return To The Ring ‘Very Very Soon’ WWE

WWE Hall of Famer Booker T believes that Paige will make a return to the ring very soon, following her WWE departure announcement.

Paige recently confirmed that she will be leaving WWE once her current contract is up on July 7.

The former Divas Champion teased noted in her statement that she plans to step back between the ropes at some point after becoming a free agent.

Speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T clarified that he doesn’t have any more knowledge than we do, but feels we won’t be waiting long to see Paige make her wrestling return:

“I’m sure she’s going to be highly (sought after) because Paige is one of kind. I’m gonna say this, Paige is going to be back inside the squared circle very, very soon. Let’s just say that.

“I don’t have any inside information. I just know how much she loves the business. I know how much her family loves the business and how well connected they are to the love of this game and Paige went out, not on her own terms.

“Paige is somebody that is definitely going to step back in that squared circle and prove that she is still one of the best female superstars that ever got in the ring and trust me on that. I don’t know when it’s going to happen, but I just got a feeling in my bones, I got a feeling in my bones that it’s going to happen real, real soon, okay? That’s all I’m saying.”

Paige last wrestled at a December 2017 Madison Square Garden WWE house show, officially retiring from in-ring competition in April 2018 due to a neck injury.

The star has teased a comeback numerous times since stepping away from the ring, previously confirming that she’s working towards getting cleared to compete.

Over 20 performers have left WWE this year so far. You can check out the full list of WWE departures in 2022 right here.
