There was a period of WWE history where there wasn’t a truly successful top star. However, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T believes that position has recently been filled.
On The Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T said that Roman Reigns is truly the guy in WWE. He also went on to compliment Reigns on his work in the ring and as an entertainer. Here is the quote, courtesy of Wrestling Inc.:
“It’s going to be a hard road to hold up, as far as going out there and actually matching up because he honestly doesn’t match up with Roman. Roman is a beast man. Roman has proved that he is truly the guy. I really feel that way. Not just because he said it, but because the guy is a top notch worker and top notch entertaining and performer. He knows the play book, he knows what Shakespeare is all about. That’s why everybody right now, come on man, all eyes on Roman.”
Roman Reigns will face Royal Rumble winner Edge for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 37.
