WWE Hall Of Famer Believes Mandy Rose Was Right To Move To NXT WWE

Booker T has said that he believes Mandy Rose was right to make the move to NXT, where she is the current NXT Women’s Champion.

Rose has held the NXT Women’s Championship for just over a year, winning the belt from Raquel Rodriguez (then known as Raquel González) at NXT Halloween Havoc 2021 on October 26 of that year.

WWE Hall of Famer Booker T recently joined the announce team for the show following the shakeup of the company’s announcers, with him now announcing alongside Vic Joseph on the developmental show while Wade Barrett fills in for Pat McAfee on SmackDown.

During a recent episode of The Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T gave his thoughts on this year’s edition of NXT Halloween Havoc on October 22, when she faced Alba Fyre to retain her championship:

“Mandy Rose, man, she stepped up. She’s definitely a player, man. When I said she is the best in the business right now, that wasn’t just cliche or anything like that. She has come up. Just the looks on her face, and her mannerisms, her work ethic. Everything is literally on point. You can see her confidence level in-ring.

“I think taking that step back for her, and going back to NXT, it was the right thing to do for her. It definitely was. Maybe she got the call up too soon. Maybe she just didn’t totally feel it properly.”

Rose currently acts as the de facto leader of the Toxic Attraction stable, alongside fellow NXT stars Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne. The group are set to celebrate Mandy’s one year anniversary on next week’s episode of NXT.
