WWE Star Unapologetically Confirms Recent Controversy

WWE Star Unapologetically Confirms Recent Controversy WWE

After an interesting video from the end of WWE NXT’s Tuesday taping made its rounds online, Booker T has now responded.

Not only has he responded, he confirmed what appeared to be occurring in the video and he was unapologetic!

Booker T addressed the viral video of him appearing to be using the DoorDash app to order food during the end of the final segment with Indi Hartwell’s farewell to NXT.

“Good for Indi Hartwell. I made sure I got the last note that I had to say which was, ‘When a man loves a woman. It’s a beautiful thing.’ That’s all I needed to say in that segment.

“The camera wasn’t on me. But I get it. You have to watch yourself at all times.”

When asked whether or not he was irritated that a fan recorded this moment at all anyway, Booker T said:

“A little bit, you know, but that’s on me. I gotta be on my P’s and Q’s, but no doubt I was trying to make sure I get my meal ready and hot because I’m gonna be out of there, bro. I had a long day.

“You know how long it had been since I had American food. That right there in itself should give me the right to do what the hell I wanted to do at that moment in time.” [jokingly]

The “American food” that Booker T ordered?

“Chicken parmesan from Fridays.”

Hartwell was called up to Raw in the WWE Draft and announced on Tuesday she was vacating the NXT Women’s Championship.

She was then carried out of the arena by her ‘husband’ Dexter Lumis, who she’ll be reuniting with on Raw, along with potentially Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae.

NXT then went off the air with pretty much the women’s roster brawling in the ring ahead of a tournament starting next week to crown the new champion.
