Booker T Explains Why Brock Lesnar Could Join AEW

WWE Hall of Famer Booker T has explained why he thinks there’s still a chance Brock Lesnar could sign with All Elite Wrestling (AEW).

Following reports that CM Punk and Daniel Bryan had joined AEW, it was speculated that Brock Lesnar could soon follow the other former WWE Champions.

It has since been reported that Lesnar hasn’t signed with WWE or AEW yet. On his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T argued that there is still a possibility that Lesnar becomes All Elite, noting:

“There’s always a chance (of Brock Lesnar joining AEW). If there’s a check, there’s always a chance anything can happen. The thing is Brock Lesnar is at the stage of his career where it’s about securing things and locking things up, I think. Is it improbable that something like that could happen? Of course not.

“Right now, you’ve got to sit back and wait on it to happen. I know the rumors are flying around right now, and right now – I’ve said it once and I’ll say it a thousand times – this is the closest it’s been since WCW and WWE wars, and the guys going from one spot over to the other side. Anything can happen right now,”

This week’s (August 2) episode of Raw emanated from the Allstate Arena in Chicago. The crowd were reportedly chanting for CM Punk before the show began.

It has been teased that Punk will make his AEW debut at the August 20 episode of Rampage in Chicago’s United Center.
