Booker T Calls WWE Star’s Heel Turn Their ‘Ticket To The Top’

Booker T Calls WWE Star’s Heel Turn Their ‘Ticket To The Top’ WWE

With Naomi identified as Jade Cargill’s attacker on WWE SmackDown, Booker T has revealed the upside to the recent heel turn.

Cargill was written of television in November 2024 and was last seen having been put through the roof of a car in a backstage attack.

The March 7 episode of WWE SmackDown saw Naomi confirm that she was the one who had attacked Cargill.

With Naomi now turned heel, Booker T has reflected on the opportunities this presents the star.

Speaking on the Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T opined that it would open her up to main event talent, saying:

“I love it. It’s something I’ve been thinking about for quite some time.

“I said when she left the company and then came back to the company and she was still the same person, it kind of threw me off a little bit, but this change right here definitely is something I feel like it’s going to give her a lot more wind in her sails to actually get some work done.

“That’s going to put her in a position to work with a lot of different people that (are) at that level and that’s one thing about this business.

“Even if you’re not, for instance, in the main event, it’s not your time, you still want to be working with the person that is in the main event, you know what I mean? That’s her ticket right now, all the way to the top.”

Booker T isn’t the only WWE Hall of Famer to have faith in Naomi, with her father-in-law, Rikishi, giving her a shoutout on Twitter.

Jade Cargill took exception to Rikishi’s support of the wife of Jimmy Uso, promising revenge on her attacker.

Naomi recently passed the 1,000 match milestone in WWE having originally signed with its developmental territory in August 2009.
