WWE’s Booker T Gives Blessing To Raw Star To ‘Keep Tradition Going’

Booker T has reacted to a Pat McAfee commentary moment during Stephanie Vaquer’s first match as a WWE Raw star.

Following several Raw appearances earlier this year, Stephanie Vaquer was officially called up to the red brand ahead of the June 2 show.

She made a big impact on Monday’s episode, defeating Liv Morgan and Ivy Nile to qualify for the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match.

During the bout, Raw commentator Pat McAfee paid tribute to Booker T, reacting how the NXT commentator usually does to Vaquer’s Devil’s Kiss move.

Speaking during his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T gave McAfee his blessing to make this commentary reaction his own and keep it up for Vaquer.

Hoping that McAfee can do for Vaquer what he has done for the likes of Jey Uso, Booker T said:

“I hope so, I hope so. God bless him, God bless Pat McAfee to actually keep the tradition going.

“I think it’s something that Stephanie Vaquer has definitely made hers, so I think it’s only right to actually bless it, man. So Pat McAfee, you’ve got my blessing as far as going out there and really keeping this thing going.

“I really think Pat McAfee was a huge motivating factor behind the Main Event Jey Uso movement, because he was YEETing on the table. I feel like if anyone can get it done, it’s definitely going to be Pat McAfee, so Pat, keep it rolling.”
