Brandi Rhodes Appears During Cody Rhodes Return Hype On Raw

As WWE Raw continued to chronicle the return to the ring of Cody Rhodes, tonight’s chapter featured one very familiar face: Brandi Rhodes.

Appearing for the first time on WWE television since her tenure in AEW, Brandi featured in tonight’s (January 9) vignette featuring more details about Cody Rhodes’ return to WWE.

With interview pieces of Cody discussing the frightening injury ahead of WrestleMania Backlash that saw him compete in a match with a torn pectoral, Rhodes was shown expressing concern ahead of surgery.

In a post-surgical interview, Cody’s wife Brandi Rhodes (credited on screen as ‘Cody’s Wife’) appeared to note that he was recovering well.

Affirming that post-surgery is when the ‘real work’ begins, there are surely more compelling stories left to be told on Cody Rhode road to the Royal Rumble.

Elsewhere on tonight’s WWE Raw (January 9) there was a big opening segment featuring Kevin Owens, Baron Corbin and the Bloodline.

Also, Alexa Bliss showed off her reinvigorated vicious side before coming face to face with Uncle Howdy for the first time.
