Brandi Rhodes has responded after GUNTHER mentioned her and Cody Rhodes’ daughter on SmackDown last night.
Ahead of their big champion vs. champion match at WWE Crown Jewel on November 2, Cody Rhodes came face-to-face with GUNTHER on last night’s SmackDown in Brooklyn, NY.
Before the verbal exchange turned physical, GUNTHER made mention of Cody Rhodes’ daughter Liberty, of whom the American Nightmare had brought up in his promo on the following week’s WWE SmackDown in Columbia, NC.
Echoing his own comments on Raw, GUNTHER stated his disagreement at Cody bringing his daughter up in the build to WWE Crown Jewel.
While GUNTHER didn’t mention Liberty by name, it caught the attention of Cody’s wife Brandi Rhodes, who took to Twitter in response of The Ring General’s promo.
Brandi wrote:
Wait, what did he say about my daughter? I don’t usually be listening to him when he starts talking. Catch me up.
This is not the first time Brandi has commented on her husband’s WWE angles this year, having done so previously during Cody’s war with Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline during the Summer.
In news related to Cody Rhodes, his WWE ally turned rival Kevin Owens has been officially booked to face Randy Orton at Crown Jewel, after The Viper pleaded with Triple H to book the match on SmackDown.
