A former AEW star has refuted claims of being “a homemaker.”
In February 2022, Cody and Brandi Rhodes left All Elite Wrestling after their contracts with the company expired.
During her time with AEW, Brandi served as an in-ring competitor, manager and Chief Brand Officer for the promotion.
On April 18, Brandi Rhodes took to Twitter to address an article written about her where the writer referred to the former AEW star as “a homemaker.” Refuting that label, Rhodes wrote:
STOP DOING THIS. IM NOT A HOMEMAKER. Just because I’m married and not in the wrestling scene anymore does not mean I’m a homemaker. Im out here working my *peach emoji* off, for these fools to keep labeling me out of their own laziness. Anywho…I’m excited to share my work SOON!
Brandi works on her own podcast entitled “2 Lies and 1 Truth” on The Nightmare Family YouTube channel as well as charity work with KultureCity.
As previously reported, Brandi’s husband Cody Rhodes is set to face Brock Lesnar at WWE Backlash on May 6.
