We covered earlier the tease that Brandi Rhodes posted on Twitter that a “new female” was in the ring at tonight’s SmackDown.

My guess in that article was right, because it was indeed her and Cody’s daughter Liberty that she was referring to. However, it turns out Brandi is there too.

This isn’t necessarily indicative of anything because it’s not the first time Brandi has been backstage, but it is pretty much the first time she’s made a big deal out of it like this. It’s possible that’s just because of Liberty being there this time.

Brandi’s husband Cody is at tonight’s show for what’s expected to be a post-show dark match with Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins.

If it turns out there are indeed more developments between Brandi and WWE, we will of course let you know. It was reported after Cody signed that she had at least had talks with people in the company.
