Brandi Rhodes Comments On Departure From AEW Bare Magazine

Brandi Rhodes has commented about stepping away from her career in wrestling and has noted she still has a lot to offer.

In a new interview with Bare Magazine, Brandi Rhodes gives an update on her wrestling future as her husband Cody Rhodes has recently returned to WWE.

When asked about her decision to step away from her wrestling career, Brandi said:

“It has been about a year. I feel very good about the decision. There was a lot about my position in the industry that took a lot of the joy out of it for me. Life is too short to be fighting so hard and still left feeling unfulfilled.

“Especially with everything that I have to offer still mentally and physically. I’d like to experience joy in my contributions at this point.”

In her position as on-screen talent as well as Chief Brand Officer for All Elite Wrestling, Brandi’s complicated position was featured on the Rhodes’ reality show, ‘Rhodes to the Top‘.

Brandi also commented on being thrilled for Cody’s return to in-ring action after suffering a grisly injury in advance of WrestleMania Backlash.

Brandi said:

“I’m very excited for my husband. He has put in so much work in his recovery and has been diligent in returning in his best form. I believe he is at the top of his game and fans will see and appreciate that.”

Elsewhere in the article, Brandi discusses her podcast, 2 lies and 1 truth as well as teases an upcoming expansion of her empire to include food based content in addition to her existing Brandi on the Rocks series.

Brandi on the Rocks followed Brandi Rhodes checking out different artisan cocktails in the Atlanta area on the Nightmare Family YouTube channel.

On last night’s (January 30) edition of WWE Raw marked Cody Rhodes officially announcing his opponent for WrestleMania 39 which you can read more about by clicking here.
