More details have emerged on talks between Adam Scherr (Braun Strowman) and IMPACT Wrestling, who are heavily interested in signing Scherr, As per Fightful Select (subscription required).
While Fightful was unable to confirm whether or not Scherr has agreed to a deal with IMPACT, the report noted that talent heard of the company’s interest in the former Universal Champion backstage during recent TV tapings.
IMPACT reportedly have been pushing for Scherr for over a month, with their interest in the star no longer a secret. Numerous individuals within the company reportedly believe Scherr will eventually head to IMPACT. The report also noted that Scherr has been in contact with AEW.
Scherr took part in this weekend’s Free The Narrative II. His last WWE match was against Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania Backlash, before his WWE release in June.
