Braun Strowman Reflects On Legitimate Punch From Brock Lesnar In WWE WWE

Former WWE star Braun Strowman has reflected on the tim he got legitimately punched by Brock Lesnar during a match as a receipt.

At WWE Royal Rumble 2018, Brock Lesnar defended the Universal Championship in a three-way against Braun Strowman and Kane.

During the match, it was noticeable that Lesnar and Strowman had struck each other hard a few times, with Lesnar in particular giving Strowman a “receipt.”

Speaking on the Hall of Fame, Strowman has now commented on that moment. He said:

“I was thinking, ‘Why are you hitting me so hard? I didn’t mean to hit you!’

“I also like to think I’m one of the very (few) – if not the only person – that’s ever took an overhand right from Brock Lesnar and not went down from it.

“He definitely wobbled me with it, it kinda made me angry, because you see about 30 seconds later I tried to rip his head off with a clothesline, and then we kinda had a little conversation, like ‘Alright, let’s get back to working.'”
