WWE Acknowledges Social Media Drama On SmackDown WWE

Braun Strowman’s “floppy floppers” Tweets didn’t just come back to haunt him in the ring tonight, they were directly referenced on TV!

After Braun Strowman reportedly caught heat backstage in WWE for making disparaging comments on Twitter about an entire style of wrestling, they were actually referenced on television.

With Michael Cole actually fully reading the “floppy floppers” Tweet (although referencing “groceries” rather than naming a major grocer!) Strowman’s opinion was noted.

Adding that Cole checked in with Ricochet regarding the previous comments, it was revealed that the high flyer laughed them off.

In the end it was those flippy flopping floppers who came out on top in the battle of the ideologies as shockingly, Braun Strowman did not advance in the SmackDown World Cup match.

After losing to Ricochet, it will be Ricochet versus Santos Escobar in the SmackDown World Cup final.

To kick off the show, a major return occurred! You can read more about that by clicking here.
