With WWE releasing stars the last thing they need is for main event stars to suffer injuries. Braun Strowman was pulled from competing in the main event of a weekend live event with what WWE has called “hip pain”.
Dave Meltzer clarified on Wrestling Observer Radio that rather than it being simple hip pain, Strowman was pulled as a result of suffering back spasms.
“Braun Strowman missed last night’s house show in Jacksonville where he was scheduled for the main event against The Fiend for the Universal title. We were told back spasms, but the official word is a sore hip and that he is expected to be back in action in a few days.”
As you can see, Strowman isn’t expected to be out for more than a few days, but WWE will be wanting to avoid any injuries to their biggest stars as we head into Royal Rumble and WrestleMania season at full speed.
We will bring you any updates on Strowman’s condition when they become available to us.
