Last night’s (December 2) episode of SmackDown saw the finals of the SmackDown World Cup.
The final saw Ricochet defeat Santos Escobar in an incredible main event to win the tournament and a shot at Gunther’s Intercontinental Championship.
That was not the last match of the night however, as the dark main event saw the rest of Legado Del Fantasma (Cruz Del Toro, Joaquin Wilde and Zelina Vega) team with Damian Priest to face Braun Strowman, Matt Riddle, Madcap Moss and Liv Morgan.
During the match, Vega and Strowman took part in an entertaining exchange, which saw Vega slap the Monster of all Monsters.
The babyface quartet ended up scoring the victory in the match.
Strowman seems set for a clash with Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship in the future.
