In the penultimate match of tonight’s WrestleMania night one show, Braun Strowman shockingly defeated Goldberg to capture the WWE Universal Championship.
The match lasted just over two minutes, with Strowman withstanding four Goldberg Spears before hitting four Powerslams of his own to win the match.

This marks Strowman’s first world title win and comes just a month after the former Wyatt Family member lost the Intercontinental Championship to Sami Zayn.
The title change has surprised many people, especially considering WWE was promoting Goldberg vs. Roman Reigns until last night’s SmackDown.
It was widely expected that Goldberg would retain the title he won from The Fiend just over a month ago at Super ShowDown. WWE clearly wants Roman to beat Goldberg for the title, so people expected the match to happen when Reigns feels safe to retur.
