Former WWE star Windham Rotunda (Bray Wyatt) has addressed the fan reaction to his latest statement on pro wrestling.
The former WWE Champion recently took to Twitter with a message that appeared to include references to WWE, AEW, ROH, and stars including Undertaker, Cody Rhodes and The Rock. You can read Rotunda’s original post right here.
As always, fans quickly began to speculate about Rotunda’s future, pointing to different references in his post.
Rotunda has since taken to Twitter to note that he didn’t intend for the message to be a cryptic clue, writing:
“It’s not meant to be cryptic. It’s a reminder to myself and others that need reminding just how special this business is. And how lucky we are to have it. Put your microscope and biases aside and read it again. #DooDoo”
Arguing that it’s not his fault that everybody examines every post he shares, Wyatt stated:
“Nor is it meant to be (cryptic). Just a feeling I wrote down. Its not my fault every time I say something everyone grades me like a middle school English teacher. See the forrest for trees man”
Wyatt hasn’t returned to wrestling since his WWE release in 2021, with his most recent match taking place at WrestleMania 37.
Numerous wrestlers have finished up with WWE since Wyatt’s exit. You can view a list of every WWE departure of 2022 at this link.
