Bray Wyatt Being Repackaged?

It seems like change is on the horizon for Bray Wyatt.

The former WWE Tag Team Champion has hinted at a possible change in both character and entrance theme. Since Hardy and Wyatt have lost their Tag Team titles, “The Woken Warrior” has hinted at the possibly of retiring from professional wrestling with his recent tweets.

This maneuver was called EVENT OMEGA..

If this is the start of a repackaging for Wyatt, it will be a much needed one, as he has had one of the most uninspiring years in recent WWE history.

Since his WWE Championship loss against Randy Orton in their “fantastic” and “creatively produced” match at WrestleMania last year, the leader of the fireflies has been floundering (and mostly losing) in meaningless feuds and forgettable matches since.

While the cult leader character is truly unique and fantastic if done right, WWE’s creative team has struggled to bring any meaning to the gimmick, meaning that his current persona is a spooky promo and a “blep”.

Nevertheless, a character tweak and some time off of television would do Wyatt some good. While it could take a while for the fans to take Wyatt seriously again, a committed storyline and some creative freedom could be exactly what is needed.

To help a new gimmick grow, new entrance music could be in store for Wyatt. He recently called out bands Avenged Sevenfold, Amigo The Devil, and Parkway Drive on Twitter to help him find some new music.
